Tyler Engel

Professional Details: 
Tyler began his career with Equitable Advisors as a Financial Advisor in 2019. He has a passion for helping families, business owners, educators, and local municipalities to pursue their financial goals. Out of high school, Tyler was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds to play Major League Baseball but chose to follow his dream and go to the University of Illinois to play baseball all four years and received a degree in Financial Planning. 

Tyler wanted to find a career that fulfilled his competitive drive and had a great team atmosphere. Along with helping his clients’ financial needs, Tyler plays another role in being a manager for Equitable Advisors. His duties include recruiting, coaching and helping other Financial Professionals build a successful financial services career. Tyler mentions that one of the most rewarding aspects in management is helping another financial professional succeed.  

 Qualifications: 
Tyler holds a BA degree from The University of Illinois.  In addition to his college degree, he holds the following licenses, titles, and designations: 

•    FINRA Series 7, 63 ,66, and 24 securities registrations 
•    Life, Health, and Long-Term Care Insurance Licenses                                           

Personal: 
Tyler is married and has two daughters. His family enjoys traveling across the country and taking on the challenge of hiking different mountains. Tyler is an avid sports fan and watches the Cubs and Bears any chance he gets.
